Amplifier and Speaker matching

Many feel Speakers must be more powerful than the amplifier driving it. But, this is not true low power amplifiers or any amplifier when driven above 50% of the volume or beyond 0db of the amplifier the amplifier starts distorting and clipping this clipping will damage the speakers.
